Diplômée en administration des HEC et comptable agréée, Joanne Forgues a travaillé pendant dix ans dans le monde des affaires avant d’entreprendre un virage vers la production télévisuelle. Elle devient ensuite vice-présidente et productrice chez Productions Prisma et produit des séries télévisées telles que Pacha et les chats, Urgence, Paparazzi, Back to Sherwood etc. En 2000, elle fonde sa propre compagnie de production: Productions Casablanca Inc. Elle y produit deux jeux télévisés (Ultimatum et Vingt-et-un), les téléséries François en Série (en collaboration avec Locomotion Télévision), Les Invincibles, Les Rescapés et Série Noire. Elle développe actuellement plusieurs projets télévisuels et des longs métrages.
A business administration graduate from HEC Montréal and a chartered accountant, Joanne Forgues worked in the business world for ten years before transitioning to television production. She became vice president and producer at Productions Prisma and produced television series such as Pacha et les chats, Urgence, Paparazzi, Back to Sherwood and more. In 2000, she founded her own production company: Productions Casablanca Inc. She produced two game shows (Ultimatum and Vingt-et-un), the series François en Série (in collaboration with Locomotion Télévision), Les Invincibles, Les Rescapés and Série Noire. She is now developing a number of television and feature film projects.
